WEDDINGS usually require the most preparation so are considered GRAND EVENTS. "Disco" Dan will work with you or your wedding consultant in the organization of this special event. In other words, we will together create the vision you have of this most important day. In addition to the music list available here, which admittedly does not have very many titles (mostly artists) you will also receive a supplemental music list to aid you in the selection of your music. The first of 2 pages has lots of suggestions for your first dance, bride-father, groom-mother, Money Dances, etc. The second page is divided into older & newer music selections for dancing.
Wedding Questionnaire
10 questions for you to think
about when planning your
wedding day.
1) Will DJ service or some sound re-enforcement be needed at your ceremony?
2) Will your guests arrive at the reception before you? If yes, do you want the DJ to begin play when they arrive?
3) Are you planning some sort of "Grand Entrance" when you arrive? If you are planning a receiving line after the ceremony we recommend either a grand entrance announcing just the 2 of you or none at all.
4) Whether for the Grand Entrance or your 1st Dance, how would you like to be announced? An example of the most formal would be " Mr. & Mrs. Joseph & Patricia Smith". An example of the least formal would be "Patty & Joe". If you wish, it can be anything in between as well.
5) Tradition dictates that dancing does not begin until the Bride & Groom have had their first dance together. Would you like to have your 1st Dance following your entrance into the reception or save it until later? If not, #8 will address an option.
6) What kinds of music would you like played during cocktails & the meal?
7) Do you want a traditional Cake cutting ceremony? Keep in mind that just prior to the cutting of the cake is the best time for toasts & speeches.
8) After the cake cutting is the best time for your 1st Dance but we can discuss your vision if you want to do something different. The First Dance most often is followed by the Bride & Father then the Groom & Mother dances & they can be combined into a single dance. What would you like to do?
9) Whatever the size, the wedding party can now be invited to join the 2 of you then the DJ will invite "the rest of your family & guests" to join in.
The songs for all of these will need to be chosen.
10) We will also need to determine what other events need to be performed such as money dances, bridal kidnapping, bouquet & garter toss & other special dances or dedications.

WEDDINGS PRICING
Pricing for a minimum 2-hours, Sunday thru Fridays, begins at $300 for a DJ Only, Grand Events & $400 for the Grand Events Package. There is a 4-hour minimum on Saturdays.
The prices reflected above are for events ending no later than 10:00pm.

Music purchases may result in additional charges of $3 per track. My policy is to give you up to 5 track downloads at no charge for "unusual" music requests. "Unusual" refers to music that I feel will most likely never be requested again. I do have the option of you providing this music in the form of a cd or on a portable music device like an iPod. I do encourage you to discuss this with me.
